What you’ll do

• Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to support analytics and ML workflows.
• Design and maintain our data warehouse to ensure that data is accessible, reliable and optimised for performance.
• Develop data models and workflows using tools to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Implement robust data validation and governance processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with data science, product and research teams to anticipate and deliver on data requirements.
• Continuously improve the performance, scalability and efficiency of data systems.
• Contribute to data strategy and drive adoption of new tools and technologies.

What you bring

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field (postgraduate degree a bonus).
• 3+ years of experience as a Data/Analytics Engineer.
• Expertise in data warehousing technologies (AWS, BigQuery, Snowflake or similar).
• Strong experience with developing complex data models.
• Deep knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration frameworks.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience optimising complex queries for performance.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and associated data services.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Startup DNA: self-starter, problem-solver, comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-changing environment.

Nice to have…

• Experience with modern tools.
• Familiarity with data cataloguing tools and data governance frameworks.
• Experience in FinTech, banking or consumer analytics.
